Shock as KNEC Sends Secret Warning Letters to Three Exam Centres

Panic has gripped several schools across the country after the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) reportedly issued confidential warning letters to three examination centres. The schools, whose identities remain undisclosed, have been directed to submit compliance reports by Monday, November 12, 2025  a date many are now calling “the D-day of truth.”

According to Education Director Peter Ogamba, the affected centres are under close surveillance following suspected breaches in examination integrity. While KNEC has not officially confirmed the specific offenses, sources familiar with the matter claim that leaked examination materials and suspicious candidate behavior may have triggered the crackdown.

Ogamba emphasized that investigations are ongoing and involve multiple agencies, hinting at a possible nationwide operation to stamp out malpractice once and for all. “No one is above the rules,” he said, warning that any candidate found guilty will have their results cancelled.

The revelation has sparked intense debate online, with parents and teachers questioning whether the problem is deeper than what officials admit. Some fear that the upcoming report deadline could expose a massive network of exam fraud involving insiders and tech-savvy cheats.

As the countdown to November 12 continues, tension remains high. Will KNEC make public the names of the implicated schools, or will the findings remain behind closed doors? Kenyans are anxiously waiting  and speculation is only growing louder by the hour.
