The National Assembly’s morning session collapsed due to lack of quorum, with only three MPs turning up. Deputy Speaker Gladys Shollei was forced to adjourn.
Later, MPs lashed out at Ruto’s remarks, demanding Speakers Moses Wetang’ula and Amason Kingi summon him to table evidence. They warned of drastic measures if the Speakers failed to act.

Mutai, impeached by Kericho MCAs over alleged abuse of office, procurement irregularities, nepotism, and constitutional violations, now awaits the Senate’s final decision.
However, a section of MCAs opposed to the impeachment filed affidavits contesting the process, arguing it was unconstitutional and procedurally flawed.
