Pastor Ng’ang’a is a televangelist and gospel preacher. In a documentary that was aired on Sasa TV, the preacher said that it is God who helped him to come out of prison. The televangelist acknowledges the fact that it is God who transformed him from a criminal to servant of God.
Ng’ang’a narrated that for 20 years, between 1972 to 1992, he only celebrated Christmas three times. The pastor was first arrested in the year 1968 at the age of 14.
In an interview with a local radio station pastor Ng’ang’a said it was God who helped him break his prison cycles. After being released from jail he was later imprisoned in the year 1972 at the age of 18 for fighting with a colleague in the village.
The man was born in the year 1954 at Subukua, Nakuru County. Pastor Ng’ang’a went on to marry a woman who is half his own age. The preacher is popularly known as Chief General Commander” and “Daktari Number One”. He started as street preacher before he went on to establish his own church in Nairobi.
