Worrying News Emerges Ahead of 1st June, The Following Counties Accused Over Covid-19 Spike

Bad News has emerged ahead of Madaraka Day Celebration set to be held on 1st June 2021. The news has caused tension on successfulness of the event as covid-19 pandemic becomes a major threat.

Worrying details are emerging following the spike of covid-19 cases in the country. The ministry of health had imposed measures to contain the spread of the pandemic.

Some of these measure include, wearing of face masks, sanitizing of hands and avoidance of social gathering among others.

The awaited day of Madaraka that’s held in 1st June of every year is a celebration of remembering the day Kenya got its self independence from British colonial government in 1st June 1963. The celebration is lead by the president and other government officials.

However, as Reports indicates by Daily Nation newspaper, covid-19 is imparting fear ahead of Madaraka due to upsurge being experienced.

The spike of infections in counties of Kisumu and Migori have been blamed due to defy of covid-19 containment measures as residents fails to comply with the ministry of health protocols of covid-19.
