Manchester United maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League after a barren draw with close rivals Liverpool. According to Sky Sports on Sunday January 17, the Manchester team played to a goal less draw at Anfield.

Liverpool, who were at home, welcomed the Red Devils who were in scintillating scintillating form. The Reds failed to take their chances with none of their attempts hitting the net.

Manchester United on the other hand came close to scoring with both Rashford and Bruno Fernandes coming close.

The game slowed down in the second half with both teams being cautious about their defensive capabilities.

Liverpool goal keeper Alisson produced magnificent saves to make sure his team didn’t concede any goals.

It was however a less busy night for the United defense as Liverpool strikers led by Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah posing no threat.
