Two Confirmed Dead as KWS Aircraft Crashes

A pilot and a passenger were killed as a KWS aircraft crashed. According to a report  Citizen Digital on Thursday February 11, the two crashed and died on the spot.

“The aircraft which is under the National Air Support Department had just completed a routine patrol at Solio Rhino Sanctuary and was enroute to Meru National Park,” a statement from KWS read.

The plane was said to have crashed in Laikipia County as it made its way to Meru National Park.

Security guards and a mountain squad was already at the scene when the statement was sent out helping to clear the area.

The cause of the crash is yet to be fully released as investigations into the crash begin.
