Twitter Surprises The World with New Handle With What They Did For The New USA Leader

Social media giant Twitter took advantage of the Inauguration of USA president Joe Biden to put smiles on its users faces. The platform on Wednesday January 20, created a new account that will be used by Vice President Kamala Harris’s husband.

It was a unique case this time as there was a complete change in how it would be called. In the past spouses of top leaders in the USA were predominantly women but there was a change this round.

Kamala Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff will not use the once popular @SecondMan for Hillary Clinton’s husband Bill when she was Vice President to Barrack Obama.

Twitter created a new account for him that will be called @SecondGentleman. This will be his official twitter account for communication.

Hours just after its creation,the account had over 800,000 followers. It will be used by Doug Emhoff who comes into the fold as one of the top faces in the American leadership.

The inauguration ceremony happened on Wednesday January 20 with Joe Biden taking over from Donald Trump. The former president ,however, failed to show up and instead traveled to his Malibou home in Florida.

His Vice President Mike Pence was present to hand over to the first black woman to ever take over the office.

Barrack Obama and his wife Michelle also attended the inauguration ceremony that took place in Washington DC.
