The long awaited Mashujaa day celebration that will take place in Kisii stadium is expected to be a defining moment in the Kenyan Politics.

President Uhuru kenyatta and his deputy Dr William Ruto’s relationship is evidently broken as witnessed in most state functions where he has been down played.

Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe once claimed that Matiang’i took Ruto’s position as the deputy party leader.
Since Mashujaa day will be taking place in Kisii which is considered to be Matiang’i’s home turf, many political analysts will be keen to observe between interior security cabinet secretary and Ruto who will carry the day.

Dr William Ruto, last week visited Nyamira where he raised money for the Boda Boda Sacco and continued to popularize his hustler narative.

However in what seems to be a major setback for the deputy president Ruto, Uhuru Kenyatta will visit Nyamira on Wednesday to launch various development project.

Nyamira county leadership announced on their Facebook page on October 19th, that Uhuru will inspect various health project that were completed a few years ago.

” H. E Uhuru Kenyatta will be visiting us on Wednesday. The president shall inspect a number of projects which the health department has initiated in the last couple of years,”Nyamira County Ministry of Health posted on Facebook.
Uhuru Kenyatta’s tour to Nyamira is likely to neutralize Ruto’s visit to the region last week as Matiang’i is expected to shine.
