Top East Africa Artists Who Have Composed Song Eulogising The Late Tanzania’s President

Since the death of Tanzania’s president John Pombe Magufuli, several East Africa have come up and composed songs mourning the death of the most iconic leader in East Africa. Here is a list of them;

1. Rayvanny.

Rayvanny released a song paying tribute to the late president John Pombe Magufuli. The song dubbed, “Kifo” (Magufuli) is an emotional song with the singer praising the late president for his development project as well as support for the less fortunate in the society.

“You have left a mark, memories that will last forever. I don’t think anyone will be able to fill up the void you have left. My heart grieves, we are such pain. You have done great work. Fare thee well and rest ……….” in clear Swahili lyrics, Rayvanny Eulogises President Magufuli.

2. Bahati.

Kevin Bahati was also not left behind. He has also released a tribute song to the late Tanzania’s president dubbed “Safiri Salama” praising Magufuli for the good things he did while in power as Tanzania’s president. The song had already garnered over 180k views on YouTube.

3. Christina Shusho

Christina Shusho also composed a song paying tribute to the late president of Tanzania. The song which he featured 4 other musicians including Jestina Kingsley, Benjamini Weston, David Music and Atasha Kissava. The song is called “Tutakumbuka Daima’

4. Harmonize

Harmonize and his Konde Gang also teamed up and release a song called. “Asante Magufuli” paying tribute to the late President John Pombe Magufuli.

5. Embarambamba.

Embarambamba has also released a song honouring the late Tanzania’s president John Pombe Magufuli. The song titled “Magufuli” was released on March 18, and it so far viewed by. more than 27k people on YouTube and received more than 300 comments. In the video the artist can be seen walking around a plantation covering his face while crying.

6. Diamond teamed up with his fellow WCB crew; Lava Lava, Malkia Karen, Gnako, Belle 9, Dulla Makabila, Queen Darleen, Zuchu, Khadija Kopa, Mbosso, Rayvanny, Juma Jux, Marioo, Baba Levo, Christina Shusho, Ben PoL, Darasa, Joe Lwaga, Barnaba, Maua Sama, Christina Shusho, Cyril Kamikaze, Mrisho Mpoto, Maarifa Chege and Madee for a song called Lala Salama.

The late president John Pombe Magufuli will be remembered for uniting Tanzanians artist and making the likes of Ali Kiba, Diamond Platinumz and Harmonize to share the same stage while performing.
