Kenya has recorded 603 new Covid19 cases raising the country’s total cases to 13,353.
A total of 5,724 samples were tested in the last 24hours.
The cumulative samples testedhas tisen to 243,887.
In terms of gender,361 are male while 242 are female.
In terms of age, the youngest is a 7-month-old infant while the oldest is 86 years.
On the other hand, 682 patients have recovered from the disease.562 have been under home-based care while 120have been discharged from various health facilities.
This brings the total number of recoveries to 5,122
The country has lost 9 more patients bringing the number of fatalities to 234.
The 603 new cases are distributed in counties as follows; Nairobi 441, Kiambu 44,Kajiado 29,Busia 7,Bungoma 2,Machakos 6 and Kisii 6,Makueni5,Murang’a 3,Nyeri 2, Kakamega,Kericho,Kisumu,Kwale,
Lamu ,Narok,Tharaka Nithi and Uasin Gishu have one case each.
