2022 presidential bid has taken a great twist over president Uhuru Kenyatta succession plan in 2022. President Uhuru Kenyatta who has been in power for two consecutive terms is set to go home upon the term expiry in office 2022.

Sharpening the tools for his succession plans, president Uhuru Kenyatta had cleared the air upon his succession plan during his 2013/2017 presidential campaign with his deputy William Ruto. Uhuru said DP Ruto will succeed him for another two terms upon his term expiry in 2022.

The move cornered suddenly as President Uhuru changed his mind following the chaos with his DP Ruto. It’s reportedly the relationship between the duo depreciated falling apart as President Uhuru linked his DP with corruption scandles and not embracing his commitment over agenda four succession of jubilee government.

With the aim of unity and peace, on march 2020 president Uhuru Kenyatta united with opposition leader Raila Odinga with the aim of uniting Kenyans as the duo claimed. It’s was high time for the unification of the two an action that gave DP Ruto sleepless nights as he was out of conscience of the deal.

President Uhuru Kenya began to beat the drum for his handshake brother Raila Odinga in mount Kenya Region as he degrade and destruct DP Ruto upon his 2022 succession plan. In the past interview with senior editors in state house, President Uhuru Kenyatta asked his DP to resign from government as he can’t have his own cake and eating it.

This week, Raila Odinga met with mount Kenya foundation members who endorsed him as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s succession project. The clergy and church leaders had claimed the reconciliation of President Uhuru and his DP Ruto an action that Ruto declared his readiness with no condition.
