The Government Gives New Directives On Schools Reopening

The education cabinet secretary Prof George Magoha surprised  Kenyan parents when he revealed that they shall incur some expenses when schools reopen.
Prof George Magoha on Sunday, June 14 remarked that parents will have to bear the  costs of acquiring personal protective equipment (PPE) ahead of school resumption.

Tough Speaking Cabinet secretary for Education had visited schools in Vihiga and Kakamega counties to assess their readiness for the schools reopening.
He revealed that the government shall be tasked to provide thermo guns that, us together with you all stakeholder shall apply the thermo guns.
Prof Magoha revealed that they will have to comply to World Health Organization protocols where every student will be required to put on a mask at all times to curb the spread of the deadly Corona Virus disease.

However, he gave hope to parents and guardians when unveiled the governments plan to produce face masks for students, but he urged those who can afford to buy the masks to buy as many as they can.
He stated that he is in consultation with other stakeholders to find a suitable time when the Primary and secondary school exams shall take place.
