On Tuesday night, May 11, Manchester United welcomed Leicester City at the Old Trafford for a fierce premier league clash. Both teams were in dire need of the three points as they are keen to finish in the top four this season. Ole Gunnar made 10 changes in his United lineup. Leicester were lucky to outclass the young Man United’s squad. The Foxes beat The Red Devils 2-1. Events that were witnessed in that match are as follows.

Leicester City were the first to find the net although their lead didn’t last for long. Luke Thomas put them ahead in the 10th minute after getting an assist from Youri Tielemans.

Caglar Soyoncu put Leicester City ahead in the 66th minute. He headed the ball past De Gea. The assist came from Marc Albrighton. They maintained this lead till the end of the match hence they scooped the three points to keep their hopes of top four alive.

Man United tried to play well but were not lucky enough to win. They were good in ball possession and they ended up finishing the match with a ball possession of 52%.

Man United’s youngster Anthony Elanga made his Man United debut that night. He is a Man United academy graduate.
6. Amad’s premier league debut.
Amad Diallo got the opportunity to make his premier league debut for United. He was recently signed from Atalanta and before yesterday night, he had only featured in Europa League match.
