Take Ksh. 17 Million and Overthrow Mudavadi as the ANC Party Leader, Savula Reveals How He Was Bribed

I was offered a Ksh. 17 million to overthrow Musalia Mudavadi as Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader. These are the sentiments of Lugari MP, Ayub Savula who spoke during the requiem mass of Mama Hannah Mudavadi on Thursday the 7th of January. 

While addressing mourners at the Quakers Church Ngong road where the requiem mass was held, Savuli revealed that a senior politician whose identity he concealed approached him last year during his (Savula) late father’s burial and assured to give him to a colossal Ksh. 17 million if he succeeded in impeaching his party leader Musalia Mudavadi.

“When I was burying my father, someone landed in my compound with a chopper with 17 million daring me to go and overthrow Musalia Mudavadi as my Party leader,” unveiled Savula before adding, “I said no. I am the son of a pastor, this is the family that raised me.”

The incident occurred at a time when Bungoma Senator and Mudavadi’s friend Moses Wetangula was also on the verge of being ousted as the party leader for Ford Kenya. Had the wrangles witnessed in Ford Kenya last year led to the expulsion of Wetangula as the Party boss, Kanduyi MP, Wafula Wamunyinyi would have taken his position as the new party leader for Ford Kenya.

Savula’s confession has left many in suspense with the big question being, who is the senior politician behind the Ksh. 17 million bribe?
