Sonko’s Powerful Message As Miguna Miguna Decleares Candidature For Nairobi

Mike Mbuvi Sonko is still lamenting following his suddened Impeachment succeeded by the Senate over allegations against him that had been submitted by Nairobi county Assembly members. Sonko has heavily blamed the move against him that he argued was driven by political force.


In his statement he penned on social media, Sonko affirmed not to look back where he States that should get out of was and come back into the is despite of being Impeached. He further ascertains that God wants to do something new but he should let the old pass.


Sonko discouraged from holding things that will let to poison the heart. He underscored in focusing on one’s energy and let go what lies behind.



“My challenge today is quit looking back. Get out of the was and come over into the is. God wants to do something new, but you have to let go of the old. Don’t hold on to things that are going to poison your life. Focus your energies on letting go of what lies behind,” Mike Sonko penned

This comes a time when exiled Lawyer Miguna Miguna expressed his interest to contest for Nairobi gubernatorial seat following the ouster of Sonko. Miguna had asked the chief Justice David Maraga with Former CJ Willy Mutunga and other legal laweys to affirm to him as per the Constitution whether he can run a public office while in Exile.

Having got the legal advice as per the response of constitutional lawyer Waikwa Wanyoike, Miguna Miguna has now officially decleared his Candidature for the position of governor of Nairobi in the upcoming By-election.


“Having received competent legal advice from @waikwawanyoike on Dec. 19, 2020, I, Miguna Miguna, a Kenyan citizen by birth and registered voter in Nairobi, hereby declare my candidature for the position of Governor of Nairobi in the upcoming by-election. Volunteers are welcomed,” Miguna Miguna asserted
