Coronavirus pandemic has been a major threat in the country due to upsurge of infection as positive cases tends to escalate. The government has been employing measures in a bid of containing the disease that goes in line with the ministry of health.

On Wednesday, Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in his state address on covid-19 pandemic, reopened Centres of worship including churches under strict adherence of covid-19 protocol. Museveni.

Centers of worship were now limited to 200 individuals in a session protocolsunder Stern adherence to covid-19 measures. President Museveni allowed the operation of centers of market in weekly and monthly operation under observance of coronavirus .

Museveni kept other sectors closed over the claims that the trend of vaccination in the country is still low as possible while have been vaccinated are few in number. He added that this will endangere ugandans if other sectors will be opened.

Museveni also kept learning institutions shut and he maintained the curfew hours commencing 7.00pm and ends at 5.00am.
