Mohammed Salah was once again the star of the match as Liverpool beat a hard headed West Ham. The match played at the Hammers stadium on Sunday January 31, saw the Egyptian score two wonderful goals.

Salah struggled to beat the West Ham defense in the first half with Liverpool having to go into the break without a goal. A resurgent West Ham kept the Liverpool striker at bay as they kept their defense tight.

The second half begun with Liverpool pressing hard through the ever brilliant Alexander Arnold. It was only a matter of time before West Ham finally let loose.

The Egyptian striker then took the stage and scored his 14th goal of the season in the 57th minute after some nice build up play from Liverpool.

He was not done yet as he also added a second in the 68th minute bringing his season tally to 15 goals in 21 matches.

Salah took a firm lead as this season’s top scorer with 15 goals as Gini Wijnaldum also converted home a third goal for the Reds in the 84th minute.
