Nyeri Town Member of parliament Wambugu Wanjigi came out guns blazing against Ruto’s Ally Caleb Kositany who has been a fierce critic of the president.
Wambugu Wanjigi is close friend of the president and is affiliated to the Kieleweke side of the Jubilee party that is opposed to the deputy president Dr William Ruto.
Caleb Kositany is serving as the current Jubilee deputy party leader and he has always stood by Ruto’s side during his political tribulations and afflictions.
However, Caleb Kositany’s claims that there is corruption in Jubilee party seems to have angered Wanjigi as he felt that this disrespectful and lack of confidence to the party leadership.
While speaking to reporters outside his office, he remarked that Jubilee is an established party and this claims that there is corruption in the party are fraudulent and cannot be substantiated.
Wambugu Wanjigi is not a man to joke with as he was the master mind behind Aden Duale’s removal, as he went on to insist that Duale must go even after he survived the 2nd of June ouster.
Caleb oppose the coalition between Jubilee and Kanu, which placed him at crossroads with President Uhuru’s allies such as Kanini Kiega and Raphael Tuju.
However, in a counter attack the deputy president William Ruto recently formed Jubilee Asili center that will accommodate leaders who have been sidelined by the party.
