The 2022 presidential succession Politics has caused a hitted political debate in the country as differents sides of the divide fight for supremacy.
The vice-chairperson for Jubilee David Murathe’s endorsement of ODM leader Raila Odinga as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s successor has ignited a fresh political uncertainty.
Citizen TV held an interview with leaders across the Political opponents to dig into Atwoli and Murathe’s endorsement on Raila for the 2022 presidential polls.
Ruto ally Gladys Boss came out guns blazing against the endorsement on Raila as she said that it is only Kenyans who will decide on who Will be the next president.
“I think what Murathe said is his personal view… provided he does not confuse it with the fact that it is not him who decides who becomes president, it is the people of Kenya” – Gladys Boss said.
On the other hand Homabay woman rep said Atwoli is entitled to his views & so is Murathe ,what they are expressing are their personal views as far as how they think the country should move forward.
Raila Odinga has been very clear that he doesn’t want to discuss 2022 at this moment.
“The BBI report is very much on track but given the pandemic that nobody expected of course you expect that there will be changes in schedule” Said Gladys Wanga.
