The 2022 presidential elections is likely to be hotly contested as the heavy political leaders will be contending against each other.

Deputy president Dr William, Machakos governor Alfred Mutua, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper party leader, KANU party leader Gedion Moi and ODM leader Raila Odinga have shown interest in the top seat.
