Ruto Back To ICC Saga Takes Another Twist As Uhuru’s Office Role Revealed

Paul Gicheru’s Move to surrender himself at Hague caught many people by surprise since the case against the deputy president Dr William Ruto was dropped a few years ago.

Lawyer Gicheru is accused of bribing the witnesses in the case against Ruto which led to them withdrawing from the case.

Ruto’s close allies led by Kapseret member of parliament Hon Oscar Sudi have continued to accuse the governent of fixing the deputy president.

According to a report by the standard Media, Paul Gicheru wrote to the office of the Head of Public services Joseph Kinyua before he was permitted to leave the country.

Mr Gicheru is the head of the Export processing Zones Authority which makes it very difficult for him to move outside the country without being offered permission from Uhuru’s office.

The lawyer did not reveal that he was going to surrender himself to the international criminal court but just resolve personal issues.

After a short conversation he got the permission to process visas at the Netherlands Embassy for himself and his wife Ruth before he later travelled to the Dutch countey.

Dr Khiminwa revealed that despite the Lawyer presenting himself before the Hague he was still Jovial without knowing what Awaits him at the Hague.
