Political leaders led Kenyans in mouring the death of the famous North Eastern political Kingpin Senator Yusuf Haji.
Garissa Senator died at the Age of 80 years, Agha Khan University hospital while receiving treatment.
Haji died at a time when he was leading the Building bridges initiative task force. The Building bridges initiative report is at the final stages.
President Uhuru Kenyatta passed his condolence message to the family, acquaintances and residents of Garissa County following the death of their Senator Mohamed Yusuf Haji.
Uhuru lamented that the death of Senator Haji was a big blow to the country especially in the BBI constitutional reform process where his leadership shall be dearly missed.
Martha Karua asserted, “My condolences to the family of the late senator Haji . He has served kenya with distinction in the civil service and as a legislator. His passing on is a loss not only to his family but also to the country.”
The former prime minister Raila Odinga mourned Haji as a leader who loved his country had passion for the Building bridges changes.
“In the passing of Senator Yusuf Hajji, Kenya has lost a dedicated patriot and a humble servant. We can only thank him for the years of his life that he gave in service of our country, his last great public passion being the Building Bridges Initiative,” Raila Odinga asserted.

Raila Odinga said,”Asante Narok, tutarudi tena.”
Immediately after Mourning the fallen hero, Raila Odinga swang into Celebrating Narok people for accepting him and the reception they accorded to him during the BBI rally.
