Addressing the state on Saturday 16th May April at Statehouse Nairobi, President Uhuru Kenyatta informed Kenyans to persist in prayer for the COVID-19 pandemic affecting the country. Uhuru affirmed that if Kenyans will pray and trust in God this deadly virus COVID-19 will be defeated. This comes after President Uhuru extends curfew for another 21 days in a bid to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
Addressing from the statehouse, president Uhuru Kenyatta indicated that the government is employing its measures to limit the spread of the virus and urged Kenyans to adhere to the stipulated laws for combating COVID-19 Spread in the country. In his address president, Uhuru praised the officers especially those working at the Kenyans borders for the pleasant Job they are embracing amidst Covid-19.
However, President Uhuru indicated that only cargo vehicles should be allowed at the bordering points as lockdown Intensify. He urged fellow Kenyans to keep on praying at this period the pandemic is affecting the country.
