Police Arrest A Gang Of Men With A Woman In A Single room

When Kenya started recording Covid-19 cases the president put in place various measures to curb the spread of the deadly disease that has crippled most sectors of the economy.
There has been an outcry from the members of the public concerning the continued theft and thuggery during the curfew hours as criminals decided to take advantage of the restrictions to rob innocent Kenyans.
Five members of a suspected criminal gang were last night ambushed and arrested in a rental house at Zanzibar area in Rurii-Nakuru County, where two pairs of military uniforms, rolls of bhang, bottles of alcohol and several sim cards were found.
Acting on a tip-off from members of the public, the team of officers launched an operation in the said location minutes before midnight, ambuscading the drunk gang of four men and a lady in the single room.
The five are: 38-yr-old Clinton Engoke Isandura, 27-yr-old Evans Siocha Mose, 22-yr-old Ephantus Kariuki Mwangi, 22-yr-old Peter Gachiengu Kariuki and 38-yr-old Betty Wanjiku Githuku.
The government has continued with the efforts of ensuring that Kenyans are safe during this period as the police have increased surveillance in the country.
