Plan To Reconcile Uhuru And Ruto Ahead Of 2022 Elections Surfaces

For the past two Years the president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Dr William Ruto have not had a good relationship.

Former prime minister Raila Odinga’s handshake with Uhuru Kenyatta seems to have spoiled the party at the Jubilee party, where Uhuru was expected to Lead the party for 10 years and then handover to Ruto.

Despite of the deputy president claiming that they do not have any political difference with his boss, the removal of Ruto’s Key allies from the positions of power in Parliament was a clear indication that Jubilee boat has capsized.

According to a local newspaper, Two Catholic clerics are leading talks to reunite the Dr William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta as there differences have become evident.

One Bishop who did not want his name to be mentioned revealed that the process to bring together the two leaders has begun and they have hopes that it will end successfully.

There have been many meeting since last week as Riftvalley Cabinet secretaries and the clergy have held night meetings to push the reconciliation of the deputy and the President.

Ruto’s political allies in Parliament and the Senate feel that the differences between Uhuru and Ruto are irreconcilable.

Ruto’s communication director Emanuel Tallam still believes that there are no differences between two leaders.
Former Senate Deputy Speaker Professor Kithure Kindiki said that Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta cannot be reunited because the Jubilee has been destroyed beyond repair.
