Dr John Pombe Magufuli is serving as the current president of Tanzania. He began his 5 years term in the year 2015. Since he assumed to office , Magufuli has been very vibrant in defending the rights of Africans and their natural heritage.

Dr Magufuli was elected under the Chama cha Mapinduzi party. The president is married to Janetth Magufuli. Janeth was born in the year 1960. She has been very supportive to the Tanzanian president.

Unlike other President’s wives who are very vibrant she has been silent. Janeth rarely appears in the public gatherings. First ladies such as Grace Mugabe who was Zimbabwe’s president wife and the wife Of the former president of Tanzania Jakaya were very radical. Janeth has always kept a low profile.

Janeth used to serve as a teacher. She was active in fighting for the rights of people suffering from HIV and AIDS. Dr John has been considered to be a very loving husband. Magufuli recently visited his wife in hospital to check on her welfare.

Magufuli has been celebrated by many African for his relentless fight against corruption and racism. He normally does what he says.
