Peter Kenneth Reveals Uhuru And Raila’s New Political Move

The battle concerning the division of revenue in Senate has lead to sharp division amongst the Senators.
Leaders from Mount Kenya region led by Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata maintained a hard stand as they vowed not turn back concerning the bill.
The members of the Senate from the region continued to sing to the tune ‘ One man, one shilling, one vote’ which means that people who are densely populated were meant to be the greatest beneficiaries of the bill.
However, their counterparts from the marginalized counties escipecially from the north Eastern region disputed the new formulae as they claimed that it likely to rob them the fruits of Devolution.
According to a report by Taifa newspaper, Ex-mp Peter Kenneth revealed that the president Uhuru Kenyatta and the opposition chief Raila Odinga are very unhappy concerning the stalemate at Senate where the leaders have failed to agree seven times in a row.
He revealed that the two leaders have formed a committee that will dig into the matter and bring a solution.
Peter Kenneth also disclosed that the leaders do not want the any county to loss revenue during this period.
