Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen protested against president Uhuru’s announcement on the end of the cessation of movement into and out of Nairobi, Mombasa and Mandera.
Former Senate Majority leader said,”I really hope I am wrong but lifting Cessation of Movement in and out of Nairobi and Mombasa will multiply the infections 10 times. I am really worried about our older folks in the countryside. Anyway what do I know ?”
Murkomen asserted, “Cessation of Movement in and out of Nairobi and Mombasa is a BIG MISTAKE 😭😭😭”
Kenya attacked him for protesting Uhuru’s announcement concerning the lifting of national wide intercounty movement and the reopening of the various sectors of the economy.
“Because you were sucked by the goverment you now want to oppose everything it says smh 🤦♂️#UkichengwaTulia,” Educated Fool said
“Ata yeye hajaelewa what he has posted… He meant “The lifting of cessation of movement” but his brain is more obsessed with criticizing than critiquing,” Kinoti Mwirigi asserted.
Ngong’u Kiare remarked,”disagree with you On this @kipmurkomen You have been moving up & down even during cessation, Are you a superior human or Immune to Coronavirus? “Tutigithie….”
Mutuku Mbithi said,”Politicians have been moving in and out of restricted areas as if nothing happened. Machozi ya uwongo”
“Mr. Chairman: I believe you meant to say that ‘lifting cessation’ is a big mistake. See, The President makes critical decisions at these times premised on Security Sector/ Intelligence, Treasury but importantly, Health Experts/Sector Reports – cognisant of the need for balance,”Silas Chakimba said
