Moses Kuria Warns ODM And Reveals What Will Happen To The Handshake

Former Cheif Justice Evans Gicheru death was announced by the outgoing CJ David Maraga.

Maraga passed his condolences to the family and friends of the late Cheif Justice as he described him as a person who served the country well.

Raila Odinga described Retired Chief Justice Evans Gicheru as a great legal mind and the man on whose shoulders they placed the burden of returning the country to the Rule of Law after the 2002 transition.

“He did his best under difficult circumstances. My thoughts and prayers are with his family,” Raila posted on twitter.

Justice Evans Gicheru was the man behind the swearing in of the Former president Mwai Kibaki which resulted to 2007/2008 post election violence.

The Gatundu South Mp Hon Moses Kuria warned ODM against Celebrating the death of the late Evans Gicheru who swore in Kibaki.

He said that if the handshake between the former prime minister Raila Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta collapses they shall abuse Uhuru.

“The ODM battalion is all over celebrating Justice Evans Gicheru’s death because he swore in Kibaki in 2007. Ngoja tu the (imminent & inevitable) collapse of the Handshake. Ile Matusi Uhuru atapata,” Moses Kuria asserted.

Deputy president Dr William Ruto remarked that Evan Gicheru was a legal giant who served our country with dedication and distinction.
“He was humble yet a tough-minded leader who contributed immensely to the advancement of the independence of the Judiciary,” Ruto remarked.
