Ministry of Tourism Appoint Super Model as Magical Kenya Ambassador

The Ministry of Tourism has appointed British super model Naomi Elaine Campbell as its Magical Kenya International Ambassador. According to a report by the Ministry on Tuesday January 12, Campbell will be the official representative of the brand.

Making the announcement on Tuesday, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism Najib Balala revealed that the model would be the face of the industry overseas.

In pictured that have spread online, Najib Balala was seen with the model while traversing the country’s tourist attractions. An official statement from the Ministry also mentioned that Naomi Campbell would be an image that would help pull in more visitors.

This announcement comes in the midst of a global pandemic that restricted traveling of tourists into the country.

The outbreak of Covid19 in late December 2019 halted various businesses with tourisim being adversely affected.

The British model is one of the most famous people in the world after building an empire in the modeling industry.

Campbell has been in the modeling business since she was discovered at the age of 15 in her hometown of London, England.

The 50 year old has gone on to host pageants and represent her country at many modelling events worldwide.
