Matiang’i Declares Tommorow As A Public Holiday Countrywide, This Is What Kenyans Are Expected To Observe

The cabinet secretary of interior Security and Coordination Dr Fred Matiang’i has declared 10th October 2020 a public holiday in Kenya. In a report by the Ministry of interior, 10th of October 2020 will be a public holiday named huduma day.
According to the report by Interior CS, the day will be observed through National prayer that will highlight service and volunteerism to the community. Kenyans are asked to encourage and participate in prayers to promote national unity, social justice, cohesion and promote sustainable development in communities for the benefit of present and future generations
“In line with the provision of public holiday act (Cap 110, Laws of Kenya) it’s hereby confirmed that 10th October 2020 will be a public holiday named huduma day. The day will be observed through National prayers that will highlight Service and volunteerism to the community. Kenyans are encouraged to participate in the prayers and promote national unity, social justice, cohesion and sustainable development in the communities for the benefit of the present and Future generation,” Report by CS Matiang’i ascertains
