Maseno University Announces The Reporting Dates For These Students

The Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha gave a green light to all Universities in the country to allow the face to face learning of students based on the preparations they have made to contain the spread of the Covid-19.
Maseno sent a memo dated 13th October Concerning the reporting of the First year students who were Expected to join this year.

The University announced that the face to face reporting for the new students 2020/2021 Academic Year shall be on 2nd November, 2020.
This will take place after the forth year students who are continuing with their exam could have vacated the University.

The University administration urged all students to ensure they clear fees before the 2nd November, 2020.
For those Students who had not submitted joining instruction forms (in four copies) will required to ensure that they submit completed forms on reporting.

Since the University has limited hostel space and hostel accommodation, the rooms will be allocated on first come first served basis.
The students are advised to have a laptop and Smartphone to facilitate blended learning.

All the reporting students are urged to follow the Ministry of Health protocols on Covid 19 while on campus and any other public place.
The registrar of academic asserted, “Parents are advised not to accompany students to the university except for students with special needs.”
