Manchester United Latest On Mbappe, Mustafi, Maitland-Niles and David Alaba

Manchester United have been keen on signing another centre-back that could partner with Harry Maguire at the heart of their defence. In the last summer transfer they kept an eye on a number of players but they signed none. Ole Gunnar still wants to sign a good centre-back come next year but it’s not yet clear who will be signed. 28-year old Bayern Munich and Austria defender David Alaba could be available on market next summer after his contract expires but according to BBC Sport, Ole Gunnar is not likely to go for the defender.

According to BBC Sport, Barcelona have denied claims that they are interested in getting the services of 28-year old Arsenal and Germany centre-back Shkodran Mustafi. The defender has not hard a smooth time at the Emirates Stadium and could be on his way out next summer.

Manchester United are interested in acquiring the services of 19-year old Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo and according to BBC Sport, the Red Devils could be joined in the race by their premier league rivals Chelsea who are said to be showing interest in the young player. Moises Caicedo is a sensational player who plays for Independiente del Valle.

Spanish side Atletico Madrid are weighing up the possibility of signing 23-year old Arsenal and England defender Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan in January according to BBC Sport. Maitland-Niles came close to leaving The Gunners during last summer transfer as Wolves were interested in his services but Arsenal decided to keep him.

PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, 22, is a target for Real Madrid next summer but according to BBC Sport, the move for the striker to the Spanish side could be complicated after PSG sacked their coach Thomas Tuchel on 24th December. PSG are now under former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino who could hold on to Mbappe.
