Magufuli In Panic As Covid-19 Details Emerge, Asks Tanzanians To Prayer

President Dr John Pombe Magufuli has lived in denial that Corona virus exists in Tanzania since last year.

Tanzania president Magufuli barred the media stations and health ministry from giving out any Corona virus related information.

During the elections his rivals such as the former presidential contestant Tundu Lissu questioned the way he has handled the covid-19 situation in the country.

Magufuli took a radical action to declare the Country Covid-19 free saying that God had answered their prayers.

However, yesterday during the funeral service of head of the civil service, John Kijazi, who died Wednesday seemed to admit the existence of Covid-19.

This came as reports indicated that there has been a rise in people who die with Covid-19 related symptoms.

The opposition party said that the vice president of semi-autonomous Zanzibar, Seif Sharif Hamad died from Corona virus.

While speaking to the Mourners, Magufuli remarked that it seems like the Tanzanias might have messed up somewhere and they should pray since the disease has started claiming lives.

However, he ruled out having a national lockdown but urged the citizens to intensify prayers.
