Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has said that insecurity troubling the Tiaty Constituency will only be solved if the local leaders are involving themselves in finding solution.

Senator Gideon thanked the Tiaty leadership for striving to return peace to the area, stating that security in the area had greatly improved since the year 2017 in comparison to the period between 2013 and 2017.

He termed the period between 2013 and 2017 as the worst because of the many attacks.

The Regional Commander Natembeya convened the meeting which was focusing on finding a solution to the insecurity problem in the sub-county.

It’s in the meeting that Natembeya ordered the ongoing operation in the region to stop for 30 days to give the requests made by the local leaders a room to sort out the insecurity issue.
