Kenya Records 194 Covid-19 Cases, Distribution Per County

Today 194 people have tested positive to the disease, out of a sample size of 3,935 tested in the last 24 hours. The total confirmed positive cases are now 104,500. The cumulative tests so far conducted are 1,273,281. From the cases 146 are Kenyans while 48 are foreigners.

Nairobi has 132, Kiambu 9, Meru 7, Kisumu 6, Kilifi 6, Laikipia 5, Mombasa 4, Kajiado 4, Nakuru 3, Turkana 3, Uasin Gishu 3, Machakos 3, Kisii 2, Lamu 1, Murang’a 1, Nandi 1, Taita Taveta 1, Trans Nzoia 1, Busia 1 and Embu 1.

39 patients have recovered from the disease, 36 from various health facilities while 3 are from the Home Based and Isolation Care. Total recoveries now stand at 85,665.

Unfortunately, 10 patients have succumbed to the disease pushing our cumulative fatalities to 1,837.

344 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 1,283 patients are on Home Based Isolation & Care.  55 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit, 26 of whom are on ventilatory support & 23 on supplemental oxygen. 6 patients are on observation.

39 patients have recovered from the disease, 36 from various Another 9 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen with all of them in general wards. No patient is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
