Racheal Wandeto, a gospel singer and content creator popularly known as Recho, was brutally attacked on the evening of May 16, 2026, in Mwiki, Kasarani area of Nairobi.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Three men accosted her along 11th Street near Obama Road, assaulted her, doused her with petrol, and set her on fire before fleeing the scene. <\/span><\/span><\/span>She sustained approximately 70-75% body burns and was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on May 18, 2026. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
