Speaking in an exclusive Citizen TV interview, Dr. Matiang\u2019i reflected on his personal friendship and mentorship under Raila Odinga, recalling private meetings and valuable lessons that shaped his approach to leadership and governance.<\/p>\n

\u201cRaila was more than a political icon; he was my mentor and a source of inspiration,\u201d Matiang\u2019i said. \u201cWhen I came home for holidays from the World Bank, we would have private sessions where he shared his deep understanding of Kenya\u2019s political direction and future.\u201d<\/p>\n
