He gave examples of officers chanting political slogans or questioning the government\u2019s legitimacy, saying such behavior is incompatible with public service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTukipata police officer anatusi rais, anaimba slogans za siasa\u2026that police officer or public servant should be fired immediately,\u201d Murkomen stated.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that the rule applies not only to President William Ruto\u2019s Kenya Kwanza administration but also to previous and future governments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not saying because of this government\u2026even the previous government and the government to come, lazima ukichoose to serve in public service, you must respect the government,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Murkomen reiterated that while public servants retain the right to vote, they cannot participate in active political campaigns.
