The Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has boldly come out to make things clear between him and ODM party leader, Raila Odinga.

Musalia claimed he does not need  Odinga’s support to be at the country’s top seat next year’s general elections.

According to him, Kenyans are fed up of political conmanship and lies and they will not elect leaders who malign others to get into power.

Speaking at Chuugu Primary School in North Imenti, Meru county yesterday, the former Prime Minister urged Raila to focus on selling his agenda and manifesto.

“He should tell Kenyans what he will do for them if elected, instead of concentrating on endorsement talk,” Mudavadi said.

Musalia added that Kenyans are wise enough and can decide on their own the person they want to succced President Uhuru Kenyatta.

However, the Amani National Congress leader defended  the BBI, stating that Uhuru Kenyatta cannot bring anything bad for the country after clinching presidency for two terms.

Addressing the congregants in the company of Lugari MP Ayub Savula and Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja, Mudavadi declared that he is the best person to succeed Kenyatta as he has a record, as former finance minister, to lead an economic recovery And will rescue the crumbling economy if elected President.

Lugari MP Ayub Savula supported him adding that the economy has been shattered by the Covid-19 crisis and only Mudavadi can revive it.
