Here Are 5 Ways To Let God Counsel Your Marriage

God is the author of marriage. He never runs out of solutions. He always provides lasting advices for a prosperous and peaceful marriage.
The following are five ways to let God counsel your marriage.
1. Make love a daily goal

Love is more than just a word. The actions and meaning of love in your union should be unconditional.
As husband and wife, your love should be abundant and constant which means should always be in use. (Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
2. Listen with humility

Listen with humility to your partner’s argument. Have patience and be attentive. Make time for communication.
God is always patient with us. He always listens to our requests with love and understanding. That is how we are supposed to do in marriage. (Psalm 66:19-20)
3. Never go to bed angry

Anger not dealt with gives birth to other issues down the road. Arguments and misunderstandings are part of marriage.
Communicate your feelings and embrace forgiveness. (Ephesians 4:26-27)
4. Pray together and for each other

Praying for your spouse or partner shows and proves that your love is extended to the spiritual realm.
Apart from it building your faith and commitment to God, praying together also builds commitment and faith to each other. (Read James 5:16)
5. True love is God
God loved us and gave us life partner as a blessing. He will absolutely bring the right people into our lives and fill it with joy and happiness.
This Devine Counselor provides genuine and real love. He only hopes that we can exemplify his love in our marriage. (Read 1 John 4:16-18)
