Doom For Moi’s Family, The Court To Make Tough ‘Arrest’ Orders

Muthaiga Police boss has been asked by the court to explain why he should not be arrested for failing to take action against Phillip Moi.

Phillip Moi marriage with the Ex-wife Rossana Pluda ended in a bitter divorce which, made them to proceed to court for justice.

High Court judge Aggrey Muchelule has asked the OCS to appear in court on February 25th to explain why he should not be detained for failing to follow a court order.

This came after Rossana Pluda moved to court to ask for justice in case against her former husband.

The Court has directed that Phillip Moi should be arrested for not paying the Ex-wife Sh1.8 million, part of legal fees she was awarded in a suit against him.
On the other hand Phillip Moi argued that he has a modest income and it is not fair for the court to judge him harshly on grounds that he was the former president’s son.

In June 2019, Phillip Moi pleaded with the court not to arrest him because he had already surrendered the house in Watamu valued at Sh140 million to Pluda.

It is not clear whether the court may again want to arrest Moi’s son if the OCS is found guilty of the case.
