Deputy president William Ruto’s allies in Western Kenya were yesterday dispersed by the Anti-riot police in Bungoma for breaking the Corona Virus guidelines.
Embattled Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula organized a home coming celebration on 19th June ,in disregard of the World health organization regulations on social gatherings.
This comes even after his blood brother died due to the Corona virus disease a few months ago raising the eyebrows of many people.
Kenyans went on social media to condemn the Bungoma senator for endangering innocent people’s lives during the home welcoming rally.
The rally was viewed as a counterattack to the meeting that was held by Devolution cabinet secretary Eugene Wamalwa, Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya and other leaders affiliated to the president and former Prime Minister.
Caleb Kositany, Deputy S.G. Jubilee said, “the members who were removed were not removed because of incompetence, the main reason is they are seen to be friends & still hold on the original dream which is why we have commissioned Jubilee Asili Center.”
During Thursday’s meeting Dr William Ruto urged the leaders who were sacked to continue focusing on Jubilee’s people-centered transformational agenda now and in the future.
