DCI Cracks Whip On A Gang Terrorising Nakuru Residents

In today’s 4am raid triggered by a tip-off through Nyumba Kumi to detectives, 26-yr-old William Kihara Ndegwa, David Ng’ang’a Ngure (22yrs), Eliud Njoroge (36yrs) and 36-yr-old Geoffrey Mwangi were nabbed within the village.

The Eleven members of a notorious outlawed group by the name CONFIRM who have been terrorizing members of the public in Nakuru County and are suspected to have taken part in setting two houses on fire at Flamingo Estate in Nakuru where one person succumbed to the burn injuries.

The gang which was armed with crude weapons broke into the victims’ house in the middle of the night, ransacked it and therefrom stole cash Ksh. 34,000, a D-light solar panel, gas cooker, a mountain bike, mobile phones among other electronics.

FOUR of the five Robbery with Violence suspects who on the night of 3rd July, 2020 robbed a family of cash & household items and in the process raped the woman of the house in turns after assaulting her husband at Rumwe village in Njoro-Nakuru County were arrested today.

The first suspect (William Kihara) had already been subjected to mob injustice before officers rescued him from the irate members of the public and took him to hospital under guard.

They are all in lawful custody pending arraignment as manhunt for the fifth suspect continues.

Having assaulted the man of the house and tying him up, the gang then forced the children to witness the animous felony as two of them repeatedly raped their mother, before slaughtering one hen, preparing it & eating it right in the same house.
