Controversial Kapseret member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has come out to name leaders who are misleading President Uhuru Kenyatta. This has come days  after the senate failed to agree on the new revenue sharing formula and adjourned the sitting for the seventh time.Senators voted to pass Murkomen’s motion that wanted the meeting to be adjourned so that senators can have an ample time to think about the matter.
Sudi speaking through his Facebook page, singled out former outspoken jubilee vice chair David Murathe and Njee Nuthuri for giving the president contrary directions.Murathe had warned senators like Murkomen that they will face disciplinary action for blocking the new revenue sharing formula.Murkomen is strongly opposing it and going against his parties affiliation.
The legislator blamed the two with other statehouse prefects and monitors for misleading the president. The lawmaker wondered how former majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen was dewhippes and replaced by Poghisio while majority whip Susan Kihika with Irungu Kang’ata. The controversial legislator compared the change to taking a sheep to lead a pride of lions.Sudi believes that Jubilee had the numbers and there was no need to involve small parties like KANU in making changes.
“I  want to ask Murathe, Njee Muthuri and the rest of state house prefects and monitors, why are you misleading my big brother Uhuru Kenyatta? How can you replace Kipchumba Murkomen with Samuel Poghisio? …How can you replace Susan Kihika with Irungu Kang’ata? It’s like electing sheep to lead a pride of lions. Was it a wise decision to seek support from small parties yet we have the members?”
President Kenyatta has found himself on a difficult side not being able to convince his senators to vote for the new revenue sharing formula. Most leaders from the mount Kenya region have been advocating for the proposals by CRA for they are set to gain more money but senators like Sakaja,Kindiki and Murkomen have vowed not give in to empty threats by their parties.
