Matiang’i revealed that he expects the team’s interim report to be presented before him in three weeks’ time. This help in giving the government direction concerning the reopening of the houses of worship.

Actually on Tuesday the deputy president William Ruto held a meeting at his Karen office with a group of religious leaders where they discussed various issues concerning the reopening of churches.
Ruto remarked, “we are appealing to spiritual leaders to make timely presentations to the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya established by the Government to expedite the reopening of the places of worship.”

The churches were closed in the country after Kenyans failed to followed the guidelines that were made by government on hygiene and social distancing.
When the houses of worship reopen Kenyans should expect very strict measures that will laid down to curb the spread of the deadly Corona virus.
