Big Blow To Waiguru After This Night Message

The Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru faces another challenge after her political enemies circulated messages on Waiguru’s ouster across various areas in the county.

Kirinyaga people were surprised after they found leaflets on the 21st of June that were indicated “Waiguru Must Go” in the native Kikuyu language.
The papers were distributed across this area Ngurubani, Makutano, Kagio,Kerugoya ,Kagumo,Kibingoti,Kibirigwi and all the Mwea rice growing villages like Thiba, Wamumu and others.

The Kirinyaga county commissioner Jim Njoka remarked that investigations are underway to crack whip on the culprits who were circulating the leaflets during the curfew hours.
Peter makai who hails from Kerugoya expressed dissapointedas he revealed that some residents found the leaflets on their door steps.
Governor Waiguru was impeached after the majority of Member of the county assembly voted against her stay in office, this is because she had been accused of corruption amongst other charges related to bad leadership.
However, Waiguru’s fate will be decided by the committee that was appointed by the Senate to decide whether she is guilty of the charges.
