Big Blow To School Heads As Tough Directive Issued

Following the new directive by the ministry of education to Schools, all head teachers are expected to advocate for mass school assessment among Students to evaluate the understanding of subjects after 10 month closure of schools due to covid-19 pandemic.

 

The government had shut up all educational institutions in a bid to regulated the further spread of the virus.

Following the information by local newspaper, the standard dated Saturday 9, January 2021, over 30,000 schools have given until the end of next week to prepare leaners for examination to evaluate their understanding of the subjects taught.

 

This program is part of the sh 15 billion of the global partnership that will boost towards preparation by the government on schools reopening.

 

The education cabinet secretary prof George Magoha stated that each and every leaner should be in school to go on with Studies.

 

Head Teachers and principals were warned not to send Students at home over schools fees and parents were asked not to retain their pregnant school childrens at home but direct them to continue with studies till the period of conception.
