Big Blow To Raila As Uhuru’s Camp Rejects BBI With Stern Warning

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s allies have given out a Stern Warning about building Bridges Initiative spearheaded by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga. The move made by Jubilee legislators allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta, they have warned him that BBI referendum will fail support from President Uhuru’s backyard in Mount Kenya region.
According to the reports by Daily Nation newspaper dated Monday 4th January, 2021, the legislators tend to reject the document following their Stern Warning to their boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The allies in parliament warned President Uhuru Kenyatta that the government will lose Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) referendum in his Mount Kenya backyard and the governor’s race in in Nairobi in a bare- knuckle letter seen by the nation at the report claims. The evaluation is likely to send shock waves in government, coming from the men and women likely to spearhead referendum campaign for the BBI constitutional Bill.
However, the document is facing a bold Opposition from Deputy President William Ruto’s allies who Claims that it isn’t inclusive and caters the interest of minority and not majority who are the common citizens. The document is set to undergo a referendum that will initiate major Constitution amendment.
