The deputy President of republic of Kenya William Ruto has thrown a Bombshell to president Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party boss Raila Odinga mocking the move of Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) spearheaded by the duo.
The Report is facing a referendum where at least 30 counties across the country are required in support of the document that will in turn trigger major Constitution amendment.
However, as Reports outlines in daily nation newspaper dated Sunday 7 February 2021, DP Ruto has warned President Uhuru and Raila over forcing Building Bridges Initiative to pass and asked them to let people decide.
Ruto Affirmed that citizens have power to make decision on the document rather than being forced to endorse it without proper consent.
Reports indicates that Members of the county Assembly across the country are under intense pressure to pass the Constitutional amendment bill in the next one week as president Kenyatta and Raila set an end of February deadline for at least 30 counties to endorse the proposals.
In the final analysis, the BBI secretariat has zoned the country into three clusters that are red orange and green. Attention is in the greens and oranges
